When Z-Day occurred¸ humans were not the only ones to suffer from the zombie plaugue. Vampires¸ existing only in the shadows¸ suddenly found their food supply threatened. In desperation¸ the Council of Blood outed themselves and set up their own enclave to protect humanity. Now the survivors must choose between a quick death from the zombies or a slow one by being cattle for the vampires.
