Hlasko
Hlasko is a freeform live-action adaptation of Marek Hlasko's infamous post-war novel Killing The Second Dog .
Robert and Jacob are two destitute Polish con artists living in Israel in the early 1960s. They make their living scamming American women visiting on vacation¸ tricking them into falling in love with Jacob. Robert¸ who directs the scheme from behind the scenes¸ and Jacob¸ who plays a broken romantic¸ are hard-boiled¸ desperate men¸ adrift in a foreign land after being forced out of tyrannical Poland.

"Hlasko is a gloriously dark game that combines a tight script with the numinous mechanics of a classic grift to deliver a singular - and memorable - experience. Also there is a dog.” - Jason Morningstar
"Hlasko successfully evokes post-war existential emptiness in a larp. Our bodies and voices become animated with anxieties and decisions of characters in a novel written over 50 years ago. If this is not testament to the games consequential design and spare brilliance¸ I am at a loss of what else to say." - Evan Torner
"Hlasko gave us the opportunity to explore some truly complex characters doing some truly despicable things...Possibly more importantly¸ I walked away feeling more invested in this piece of literature than I think I would have if I'd just picked up the book - which I now plan to do.” - Clio Yun-Su Davis
