Safe Haven¸ city of thieves and brigands¸ where those who wish to escape their past go to disappear. The woods surrounding it share its reputation. It was here Storm O'Dowd wished to raise his family. When a band of mercenaries came in search of Storm they found his wife and son¸ Mikal¸ instead. Defending his family¸ Storm is cut down in front of his son's eyes. But¸ like all Celts¸ Mikal was born with the gift of magic¸ and though untrained¸ he unleashes it all against the mercenaries! Now he must deal with the consequences.
