Legacies of the Multiverse
What is a legacy? In the context of this supplement¸ the Multiverse is full of legacies: lineages¸ talents¸ natural abilities that cannot simply be taken by power¸ because they are part of the essence of what your character is or has become. Legacies¸ as the name already allows us to understand¸ are left to someone: in this case¸ your character. It is up to you to decide what to do with them¸ though. We brought legacies in three different categories:
First¸ there are subraces¸ and you'll find five of them inside¸ well-suited for a Realms campaign: gem¸ shadow¸ and Kara-turian Dragonborn¸ and also star and rockseer elves.
After that¸ there are twelve bloodline feats that allow players to create characters who are part of some of the most notorious families in the Domains of Dread. Want to play as a Zarovich or d'Tarascon? Now you can¸ not only in name but also in actual game mechanics.
Finally¸ we present 10 guild charms: modal cantrips that you can use to fill your spellcaster with the flavor of the guilds of Ravnica in the most various ways.
Each of these new options is also easily portable to your own campaign¸ homebrew or otherwise. As the various settings of the Multiverse work only as a backdrop for the new mechanics¸ you'll find it very easy to flavor any option to make it perfect for your own games!
