What is this?
This is Odiare¸ the domain where all toys come to life. Unlike Toy Story though¸ these toys do not look for joy but to possess your body while your soul enters a wooden doll. Odiare is ruled by Maligno¸ an evil marionette who could easily be the evil distant relative of Pinocchio.
Inside you will find: Lore and information for the domain of dread¸ Odiare¸ such as population¸ settlements¸ important landmarks¸ local fauna and flora and so much more. Artwork¸ lore and ways to confront Maligno. Two new monsters¸ Zac-the-Box and Carrionettes. Two new spells. WARNING Some of the content in this book can and will be disturbing to part of our audience. We have tried our best to treat these subjects with the respect and severity that they deserve¸ but parts of Ravenloft¸ and the real world history and fiction that inspired it¸ have always been horrific in the extreme. If you or your group feel uncomfortable with that kind of material¸ we strongly suggest that you leave it out of your campaign. We have chosen to leave it in as we believe that these subject still need to be addressed¸ and that roleplaying games - like literature - is one of the best mediums for doing so. A huge project of dread! Thats the best description I can give in a single sentence.
If you want to know what it really is though¸ let it be known that this project aims to translate all 100+ Darklords and their Domains (including former ones) to 5th edition. All statblocks are made with the lore and deadliness that each darklord is portrayed in older versions and novels in mind! Unique B/W artwork¸ new spells¸ new items¸ maps and important NPCs and monsters will also be included.
