Curse of Strahd - Death House Letter (Strahds handwriting matched)



I love props. Players always light up when I hand them something to personally examine¸ especially if I've taken the time to make it feel authentic. I was disappointed that Curse of Strahd provides handouts for the letters from the Burgomeister and from Strahd¸ etc.¸ but not for the letter from Strahd that players find in the Death House. So I set out to create my own. It was especially important that I match Strahd's handwriting¸ since part of the mystery is that the original letter they receive from the Burgomeister matches Strahd's handwriting¸ and that the seal also matches. I found the font used in the original handouts and recreated the Death House letter¸ going so far as to make minor adjustments to the text so it appeared more hand-written. I hope other DMs find this useful. Enjoy!
