Curse of Strahd: Additional Handouts
Basic Information: These silver best-seller PDF-files contain three additional handouts you might need when running the Official Dungeons & Dragons Curse of Strahd adventure at your table (in both Letter and A4 format). They include: A wedding invitation penned by Strahd (including RSVP card) A diary by Mrs Strazni Ireena Kolyana as a 3rd level side-kick The handouts have been generated to follow the same style and include the same information as the other player handouts you can find in the official adventure (Appendix D & F) or online. Additional Notes : (Warning Spoilers Ahead!) On the Wedding Invitation: I recommend using the wedding invitation in any campaign where Strahd has been able to capture Ireena alive. A wedding makes for an excellent ending of the campaign (see other content below)! You could use the wedding invitation as a substitute of the normal dinner invitation of use both sequentially. On the Diary: A common (see e.g. Dice¸ Camera¸ Action on YouTube) change to the module is to have one of the players be Izek Stazni's lost sister/brother (instead of this being Ireena; this works especially well if one of the PC's plays a tiefling with a vague past). If so¸ I recommend using this handout as a method to deliver additional information about her/his heritage to this player. Be aware that the handout touches on: a passphrase to get past the green flames of Tsolenka Pass which can be found at Argynvostholt¸ how Fiona Wachter came upon a false copy of The Grimoire of the Four Quarters¸ and how Izek Strazni and Stella Wachter were born. On Ireena as a Side-Kick: I recommend using Ireena Kolyana as a 3rd level side-kick in any campaign where she is not played by one of your players. You can use the official side-kick rules from the Essentials Kit or Tasha's Cauldron of Everything to level her up with the rest of the party if needed.
