The Promise of the tabletop RPG has always been a direct answer to the constraints of other games or mediums - they are meant to allow you to do anything¸ to solve problems in any way¸ to truly give the player the power. In that sense¸ the Tabletop game Pith is a direct answer to the constraints and limitations of contemporary roleplaying games. In Pith¸ the player is truly free to let their imaginations guide them ¸ no longer constrained to the arbitrary controls of other games. If you can imagine something¸ you can play as it or experience it¸ and the focus is always on allowing the player and GM to accomplish whatever they want rather than to constrict them into an experience that the designers wanted. By stripping down what is expected of a game¸ Pith is able to provide the framework for any combination of traits or powers you can think of ¸ to suit any play-style or adventure you have in mind. By letting you pick and choose what specific elements you want to include in your character¸ in your world¸ or in your campaign¸ it gives you true freedom over your character.
