PlanetFall: Talents of War



In the Art of War and PlanetFall universe Talents can control the very fabric of the universe and define (temporarily) the nature of reality. They don't necessarily need trinkets or rare objects to make their powers work though sometimes they need that mental crutch to help them focus their attention long enough. The races of the Synod are well acquainted with the use of Talent mental powers and the Dau use this power almost exclusively.
The Fallen races are mostly ignorant of the existence of Talent abilities and so these lie dormant waiting to awake. One Fallen race¸ the De'an¸ are masters of Talent abilities and have used this to wreak havoc and destruction across their sphere of influence. It is even rumored that they have used these abilities to infiltrate and manipulate the Synod government and the agencies of the G.O.D.
