Fire from the Sky!
Nearly a month ago¸ a red spike appeared overhead in the night sky. As it drew closer¸ portents and omens danced across the region. Each night the spike grew as furtive viewers watched in awe and trepidation. Suddenly¸ it split into five parts¸ and then¸ now some three weeks ago¸ a fragment of star stone crashed to the earth¸ leaving a streak of destruction in its wake. The star stone was not alone¸ and now a deadly fungus has begun spreading into the surrounding countryside¸ affecting the beasts and plant life¸ causing them to grow in enormous proportions.
The group has been selected by the Institute of Magical Arts and Astronomical Examinations in the elven capital of Iadara to travel into the region of Galt and investigate the landing site of the star stone-returning with any relevant information.
The Hive of Corruption is a Pathfinder Second Edition adventure for a party of level 1 characters. Players will advance their characters to level 3 by the end of the adventure.
