The Improved Pathfinder Character Sheet
This Improved Pathfinder Character Sheet was made by a dissatisfied Pathfinder player for other Pathfinder players who are equally appalled by the vast lack of space and detail on all the other standard¸ run-of-the-mill character sheets they've tried. TL;DR: 8 pages of everything needed for recording a Pathfinder character of any level! Form-fillable PDF with several auto-completing fields and lots of check boxes! Black-and-white layout so your printer doesn't hate you! Made from scratch using Adobe InDesign CC and Acrobat Pro DC! What¸ exactly¸ is on each page? Continue reading to find out! Full Description: After having scoured the Internet for the perfect character sheet without getting any satisfying results¸ I decided to make my own. It would be made according to my high standards as a designer and artist. It would have ample room for all the minute details of my characters without being overwhelmingly long. It would even be form-fillable with several auto-completing fields so I could use and edit it in PDF form on my computer¸ tablet¸ or smartphone-but it would also be printer-friendly. And¸ last but not least¸ I would publish it online because surely I'm not the only Pathfinder player who struggles with finding character sheets that they like. Basically¸ it would be the most comprehensive Pathfinder character sheet the Internet had ever seen (okay¸ maybe that's an exaggeration¸ but one can dream). Because this thing is 8 pages¸ here's a rundown on what's on each page: Page 1 has all your basic stats-ability scores¸ hit points¸ saving throws¸ and skills¸ as well as a box for you to record your character's name (amongst other important things). Page 2 has places to put all your defense and offense stuff. This includes your character's armor class¸ defensive items and abilities¸ attack bonuses¸ and even some offensive abilities at the bottom. Page 3 continues the theme of offense and thus has room for up to 5 attacks and all their details. It also has room for 19 feats (probably overkill) and three boxes for some other important things like languages. You gotta know these things. Page 4 is your inventory page. Lots of fields for weapons¸ armor¸ magic items¸ and other gear. Even has a spot for you to keep track of how much money you have-fun! Page 5 was made for those of us who play spellcasters! Spots for all the mechanical details such as spell slots and save DCs¸ a blank list for you to put in your prepared spells¸ and a box for both metamagic feats and spell-like abilities. The entire bottom half of the page is for special abilities¸ which is just a fancy term for things that don't really go anywhere else on the sheet but probably should be recorded anyway. Page 6 is just a bunch of blank form fields¸ but all of them are for spells. All of them. Page 7 has space for all your non-statistical character details¸ because numbers get boring after six pages. Appearance¸ personality¸ and relations to other characters can be found here. Do you like having art of your characters? There's a spot for that! Write ridiculously long backstories? I can't guarantee you'll be able to read the font size if you put it in the designated (and relatively large) box¸ but it's worth a shot! Page 8 gives you room to keep track of how much your character has grown as an adventurer. Seriously. With a row for each level you've gained¸ all the way up to 20¸ you can write down the important bits. And if you like having all your racial and class features in one place¸ put them here!
