The Cthulhu Hack: Quickstart (d20)



Of course¸ the revelation was not as clearly cut at the time as it sounds now. There were several conceivable explanations¸ and we did a good deal of indecisive whispering. Most important of all¸ we did not retreat without further investigation; for having come this far¸ we were loath to be balked by anything short of certain disaster.

A FREE Quickstart for The Cthulhu Hack¸ the game of investigation and cosmic horror. The Quickstart contains:

  • A 2-page overview of the game and its core mechanics
  • A 2-page quickstart micro-adventure "Nocturnal Rites"
  • Two pre-generated characters
  • Several versions of the simplified character sheets¸ including 4-on-a-sheet¸ an A4 version¸ and a simple form-fillable version

"Nocturnal Rites" provides a Scene of investigation and action¸ which you can easily expand into a full session or use as a kick-off to something more.
