White Eagle. Generic U.S. regular cavalry 1865-1880



Immediately after the end of the Civil War¸ a series of Indian wars continued - the United States was actively exploring the Wild West. There are tragic and heroic pages in the history of the Indian Wars¸ there is its own Isandlhwana and its own Rocks Drift. The scale of the battles in the Wild West is great for Skirmish-style acting out.
The Colonial War Wargames subdivides the playable troops into three global categories: Regular¸ Irregular¸ and Tribal.
This album presents the Regulars of the American Cavalry 1865-1880: commanders¸ horsemen on attack¸ dismounted horsemen¸ two types of light artillery and a baggage train of pack mules.
The characters in the album are adapted for the Osprey rule system¸ but also work great for other systems.
