The Man We Knew is a noirish thriller for Orbital Blues¸ a tale of an old friend¸ a sudden death and a dangerous racket.
It's a pastiche of the film The Third Man transported to the Frontier Galaxy. Characters arrive on Catapult Station Odessa¸ a city-like space station divided between three warring conglomerates¸ for a job opportunity from their former friend Cash Chi. They arrive to find Cash seemingly deceased and the racket they were involved in about to explode.
