Themes
Within the multiverse of D&D¸ there are many dark fantasy and horror settings. However¸ the goal of this title is not to just add options for characters in those types of games¸ but to add a more unsettling atmosphere of class options in general. Each of these three subclasses are heavily based on one question: what happens to us when we die? Nobody knows because nobody has ever come back to explain the truth¸ but in the D&D that is a possibility. The Oath of the Revenant Vow is a paladin subclass inspired by a certain famous rogue from a famous D&D stream; followers of various death domains¸ these paladins walk a tightrope¸ burying those who pervert the mortal cycle with undeath. Kinslayers are fighters risen from the dead¸ bonded to a renegade soul: a ghost. Many of their abilities reflect this¸ allowing you to play a soul-based tank or damage dealer. Finally¸ there is the Way of the Many. Initially called the Way of the Myriad¸ this monastic tradition came about through our home game: the Interlopers. Over time¸ a friend and I cultivated the class¸ bringing the first incarnation to DMs Guild after a great deal of playtesting.
Ever-Growing
We are always looking to grow as a company¸ and we hope to improve upon various releases that have balance¸ formatting¸ or grammar mistakes; we do not want our customers to purchase a product littered with typos or overpowered features. As a result¸ expect all GM Publishing products to change from time to time as new D&D products are released that change the current state of the game¸ or simple grammar and formatting updates that fix up minor issues.
