Even though nowadays past events can appear to our eyes as the normal and gradual concatenation of causes and effects¸ such mechanistic certainty is the very first casualty on the battlefields¸ were victories are won by a hair's breadth and defeats may be dictated by the merest chance¸ seemingly invincible powers are suddenly overthrown and hopeless opponents harvest an astonishing triumph.
History does not abide by the cruelty of chance¸ or fate¸ or the whims of some fickle Goddess.
History only abides by Agon.
Agon¸ the most ancient Martial Arts Tournament¸ a thousand-year-old archaic tradition¸ kept secret through the generations by the power elite¸ honoring a vow to the People from the Stars as ancient a Man himself.
Agon WWII is a Role Playing Game created by Marzio Morganti¸ which makes use of Musha Shugyo's fighting system for the battles¸ but builds around it a very original and extremely interesting structure.
