Murphy's World - A humorous techno-fantasy roleplay game



Abgedrehte Fantasy-Parodie über einen Planeten¸ auf dem die Gesetze der Wahrscheinlichkeit verrückt spielen (frei nach Murphy"s Law).

MURPHY'S WORLD is an entire planet operating via Murphy's Laws -- a place where anything can happen. It is the Realm of Faerie¸ the Land of Myths and Legends¸ the place of popular folklore and dreams (with a dash of pop culture) -- comically twisted¸ yet maintaining an internal sense of 'logic'. It possesses of an extensive but faulty network of Interdimensional Teleportation Gates (through which many inhabitants and technological artifacts have arrived)¸ connecting Murphy's World to just about everywhere (eg¸ other RPG settings). Thus¸ many residents are like Sean Murphy -- reluctant alien immigrants. New arrivals can pop up (in¸ down¸ or sideways) anywhere; confused¸ embarrassed¸ and wondering how to get home. Spaceships typically crash upon entering the atmosphere¸ and return gateways are often invisible¸ unpredictable¸ or out of order.
