Moon Roads - a game of modern magic
A roleplaying game of modern magic
Magic is real. The world has a side that's hidden and strange. And you are the magicians who walk there.
This is a rules-light game of characters with magic in a world very like our own. It's a game of contrasts and balances: ancient and modern¸ normal and strange¸ metaphysical and personal.
Magic is a freeform system using a set of facets to create effects on the fly¸ encouraging player creativity while keeping the concepts and rules pretty simple.
Stories can range from wonder to horror; from enigmas to action. Which roads will your group walk?
System note: it's based round two d10¸ don't go over stat¸ with various other bonus and opposition dice as needed. (It's the same core as Frisson and Constellation¸ adapted differently.)
Full page character sheet available separately.
This product works on a crowdthrown model. That means I throw out something that's well made but a bit experimental and untested¸ and if people like it I might do more with it. If you support by buying the pdf (thanks!) you'll get any future updates to it. Check out the previews for a good idea of what you're getting.
