Sentai" () -- team¸ military task force¸ squadron. In 1975 Toei Productions created a tokusatsu (special effects) TV show featuring a team of costumed heroes called "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger"¸ or "Secret Team Go-Ranger"¸ spawning a series that would be in constant production for over 40 years. The formula is simple: a group of friends from all walks of life is united as a sentai in multi-colored costumes to oppose an Earch-shattering threat. In each episode the threats grow¸ from fighting faceless minions¸ to meeting the lieutenant¸ a parade of monsters each week¸ culminating in a final battle with the big bad itself.

"Sensational Sentai Squad GO!" features rules for creating a tight-knit team of powerful rangers¸ multiple campaign ideas¸ and a complete starting adventure set in the ever-expanding world of Mecha vs Kaiju.
- "Links" offer a way of connecting characters closely during the Phase Trio¸ then continuing the evolution of their relationship during play.
- The "Sentai Stunt" turns any character into a super hero¸ complete with a list of "Sentai Fighting Moves" for every skill (and I do mean every).
- Four sample settings complete with Campaign Notes¸ including how to turn MvK mecha and kaiju stunts into super powers and introducing alien races into your campaign.
- "The Kannon Sentai"¸ a complete introductory adventure inspired by ancient Japanese history¸ taking place within the established MvK mythology of the battle between the heavenly Kami and the diobolical Ogres.
