MAGS Infernal Magic
M.A.G.S. Infernal Magic
MAGS Infernal Magic is a rules supplement intended for use with the MAGS RPG Core rulebook and any other MAGS rules supplements. This Rule book references the Core rules and MAGS Magic rules is dependent on these rules for understanding.
Infernal Magic is a type of magic that is powered by morally dubious external forces from the nether world. It requires sacrifices of self or others to fuel the Devotee's ability to use Infernal powers. The Devotee has an Infernal Pool¸ which is used to power their spells. The base size of the pool is determined by the Devotee's CREA¸ WIL¸ and STA attributes. The Devotee can increase the size of the pool by committing Ritual Sacrifices to the Infernal Entity they are tied to¸ but these sacrifices also create Infernal Taint¸ which creates a Taint Pool. The effects of Taint can range from minor disfigurements to major delusions¸ and the Devotee can roll on the Taint Effects Chart to determine the effects of the Taint. The pools reset every day at Midnight.
These rules tie-in directly to the MAGS RPG Core Rules and its stats & mechanics are derived from the the Core Rules.
Please be advised that this role-playing game suplement¸ MAGS RPG Infernal Magic¸ involves themes and mechanics of morally dubious practices and sacrifices.
