The digital world of Infinity's Edge is overflowing with magic of all sorts¸ and for every kind of magic¸ there's at least one kind of spellcaster eager to bend it to their will. With the power of the Five Elements and the Ten Energies¸ there is very little that magic cannot accomplish¸ and very few forms it cannot take. But such power requires knowledge¸ and the most effective knowledge comes in the form of essential formulae¸ what layment might call spells.
The Infinity's Edge Role-Playing Game includes a number of different spells for all ten different types of magic¸ but that's not enough for dedicated players to make use of. The Virtual Grimoire not only introduces sixty new spells for characters to use in whatever manner they wish¸ but it takes the original forty spells from the core rulebook and expands them with rules for Upcasting¸ which allows spells to become more powerful as the characters who possess them do.
