Quantum Sands is a campaign sourcebook for Grim Horizons focused on the cutthroat search for ancient Pemunian communications technology which was lost during their final nuclear war. In this book¸ players will find ten unique scenarios that form a linear campaign focused on the rivalry between a pair of expeditions as well as guidelines for terrain¸ random encounters¸ and the rules for new Crusader character archetype.
As this sourcebook is only a supplemental rule set¸ at least one player must also have a copy of the Grim Horizons Core Rulebook in order to play through this book's campaign or scenarios.
