Gilded Age - Rules Complete Early Access
This is the rules complete edition of Gilded Age. The World sections need work¸ but all player's guide sections and GM's guide sections are done¸ polished¸ edited¸ cleaned up¸ formatted and otherwise 100% complete. Gilded Age is an RPG that has class-based characters and tactical combat¸ but an open-ended and flexible skill system. The Gilded Age setting is Diesel Punk¸ similar to our earth's 1920s-1950¸ but with magic¸ airships and the occsional giant robot. And more- every section of this book has advice on Making It Your Own¸ from ways to personalize your powers¸ gear¸ NPCs¸ and even the world itself. Player characters choose one of 14 unique classes¸ an archetype which describes how they manifest those abilities¸ and a human phenotype which describes where they're from. A PC can wield Gild magic to craete barriers¸ use a mystic Auric item to blast foes¸ equip mechanical equipment to jet across the battlefield or have a partner creature called a Protean. And the people using these powers can be regular folks¸ cyborgs called Gearhearts or mysterious strangers from Xigdas called Mouros. Game Masters gain a whole tool box full of options to use¸ from ways to adjudicate skill checks to highly customizable NPCs to different types and ways to give out loot and levels.
