Your brain is an amazing engine. It prepares you for your day even when you are not awake. We run countless dream scenarios ahead of time for your well-being. To keep it fresh we pick a setting¸ genre¸ and conflict to codify your anxieties. Go on a first date on Mars running from aliens or buy a house in hell while fighting for demon rights!
We remind you of your most embarrassing moments¸ so you don't have to live through another one!
Game Play
The players are REMnauts guiding their host through a dream simulation meant to represent an upcoming real-life situation. It is a balance of slowly increasing difficulties in the Waking World to succeed in the dream simulation. As a REMnaut you use actions like tapping Whimsy to Imagine Interobject to create dream items to gain a bonus¸ summon Mind Pops to double your dice pool but increases your stress¸ and Deja Reve to reroll at the cost making the dream too Surreal. Expose your host to too much Stress¸ Surreal¸ or Whimsy and they will awaken¸ doomed to create a new mind pop in the Waking World!
