Immortal Reign - Revised Edition

Inspired by Stratego¸ Immortal Reign is about two royal families fighting each other in a final battle to control the kingdom. You will deploy wizards¸ beasts¸ and assassins to take down your opponent's army using tactics and subterfuge.
Simply play a card from your hand face down¸ and your opponent does the same. Both of you reveal¸ but only one will come back to its owner.
Components
- 10 Red character cards
- 10 Blue character cards
- 2 Hierarchy cards
- 5 Purple victory cards
- 3 Rule cards
- 2 Tactics reference cards
- 4 Tactics cards
Goal
- Eliminate the opponent's Royal. If both Royals are eliminated at the same time¸ whoever has the most character cards excluding Assassin and Champion win. If tied¸ both players lose.
Setup for Basic Game
Give each 10 player 10 character cards of their chosen color¸ and 1 Heierarchy card for reference. Don't use Tactics cards
Play
Both players will pick one character card from their hand of cards and place their selection face down. After both players selected their card¸ flip the cards face up
Refer to the Hierarchy card to see who wins. Any cards defeated are discarded and removed from the game. The winning card goes back to the player's hand.
Repeat until a Royal is defeated
