Adventure in the orbit arround a new wormholeAlter: 12-99 Spieler: 2-5 The small mining colony on the edge of the Thunder nebula was insignificant¸ just another back-water planet¸ until a wormhole began to form just outside the nebula. Suddenly¸ all the factions of Earth are scrambling to take control of Thunder's Edge. For whosoever holds the wormhole also holds humanity's key to the stars! Thunder's Edge is a science-fiction boardgame of politics¸ strategy and giant mecha for two to five players. Each player controls one of Earth's factions¸ each of which is trying to exert power over the planet Thunder's Edge. To win¸ players must gain the support of important lobby groups within the government¸ hold key locations on Thunder's Edge by military force¸ and fight for control of vital off-world locations. Along with its quick combat system and frenetic political phase¸ Thunder's Edge also features a new mechanic that guarantees that the more players there are¸ the faster the game plays.
