STAKE 2: Bride of the Creature



For over a century the dire legacy of Victor Frankenstein has kept the meek inhabitants of a small Hessian village in the grip of fear. But now the relative peace has been shattered - a new threat has begun to wreak havoc upon the earth! You are a member of STAKE¸ a special division of Scotland Yard assigned to deal with the macabre and elements of the supernatural including banshees¸ werewolves¸ and other things that go bump in the night.
STAKE uses a modified version of the Fudge game system where every roll of the dice may lead to a new discovery or end the player's mission at the snap of a finger. The game uses a guided adventure path format which allows up to 3 players to role play at one time without the need for a dedicated GM.
Solve puzzles¸ uncover ancient mysteries¸ and thwart evil at every turn. Put a stop to a mad scientist's creation and live to fight another day. It's all part of the job as a member of STAKE!
