John Wick and I were discussing the question of how much does an rpg need in the way of rules to be playable? This is my answer. I would give it to you gamers for free¸ but people don't value things that are just handed to them¸ and so I'm asking for a minimal cover price¸ mostly to make up for the fact that I actually paid the artist. No dice needed. Just an ordinary deck of playing cards. I believe this system would work with any other rpg. Just throw out their rules and keep the adventure. This is the 3rd iteration of the rules with some minor changes and additions from the 1st & 2d editions. If you get all 3¸ you can really see how a game design changes as more people get involved.
