Hearts of Darkness-Kidnaped-Module One
In the Forgotten Realms ¸ a sinister plot has begun to plunge the world of Toril into eternal darkness! The perpetrator of this plot has prepared everything except for five very unusual ingredients. Those ingredients are five hearts¸ but not just any hearts¸ they are from five very special individuals. With the five hearts¸ the ritual can be completed and once finished¸ the result will change the very essence of light and darkness forever! Can a group of adventurers prevent the ritual from taking place and keep the status quo of light versus darkness from changing or will they fail and engulf Toril into total darkness? Only the players and the DM will know for sure! Hearts of Darkness is a planned campaign of five modules each centered around the acquisition of the five hearts required. Each module is chocked full of adventure¸ combat¸ and treasure. The first module "Kidnaped" starts the campaign and is a chase style adventure. It is perfect for first time players and first time DM's as well. It has plenty of twists and turns in a fast paced chase to rescue two infants that have been kidnaped by goblins! Kidnaped takes the players from level one to level four (or higher)¸ in approximately twelve to sixteen hours of play. Kidnaped can also be played as a stand-alone adventure in almost any setting with minor changes. It does require the Players Handbook¸ Dungeon Masters Guide¸ and Monster Manual for play. Hearts of Darkness-Kidnaped-Module One is currently only available for Fantasy Grounds Classic. An updated module for Unity is in the works and will be available soon!
