Behind Enemy Lines: 3 player module (5e)
The Age of Ascension: Behind Enemy Lines ¸ is a D&D 5 th Edition adventure module. This module is designed as a standalone¸ one off adventure within the Age of Ascension*. It can easily be used within any fantasy campaign setting within a fantasy world such as the Forgotten Realms or Wildemount. This adventure is designed and optimized for three 3 rd level characters. The module includes wilderness survival encounters¸ magic items¸ maps¸ puzzles¸ dungeons and is packed with lore to develop intrigue. Overview: The adventure briefly begins in Leilon ¸ a tranquil town amongst the free state of the Sword Coast region. The adventurers have been selected following each retrieving a card containing a single word¸ 'mage'¸ 'warrior' or 'healer'. They are to meet with Archmage¸ Adelius Swansong at his tower¸ the Shifting Obelisk¸ wherby t hey are offered an opportunity to retrieve a powerful artifact¸ a dragon egg. If they agree they are teleported 1¸600 miles south¸ to the Ruins of Heidelburg. Heidelburg is an ancient¸ now forgotten settlement¸ deep within the Wasselwood. The ruins lie in the shadow of Wasselberg mountain range within the Wasselfall peninsula¸ a territory of the Zamnian Republic. The Zamnian Republic is hostile to outsiders who do not bear the mark of 'the Republic'¸ indicating they are not part of its unifying order. Thus¸ adventurers will have to manage aggression from locals¸ indigenous population¸ and wildlife alike whilst they search for the artefact. note: The world of Age of Ascension * is a long running collaboratively run world build with 4 different DMs across four separate campaigns with over 20 different players.
