A Forgotten Realms adventure for a party of four characters of level 1. The town of Nightfell occupies a strategic position within the Forgotten Realms. The eponymous flower is a rare and precious reagent that can only be found in its vicinity. Political intrigue for control over the resource has always raged. One party¸ however¸ seems to be now embracing the forces of darkness to assert definitive dominance over the region at what could be a fatal cost for the population. High on intrigue and mystery¸ with several combat situations¸ a brief wilderness adventure and an epic final battle¸ A subtle scent of death is intended to provide a rich setting for self-created adventures as well as follow-on publications within a broader set of Nightfell Chronicles.
