Fate Codex 1.5 The
The Fate Codex is a mostly-monthly e-zine featuring Quick Start Adventures and more for the Fate roleplaying system. The project¸ funded through Patreon ¸ grows and swells as more patrons support our work. We've been lucky to have lots of folks pledge.
We've also been lucky enough to feature some really great artists¸ including Marissa Kelly¸ Mike Mumah¸ and Juan Ochoa. There's some great work in this piece and over 10¸000 words of awesome Fate content¸ ready to be thrown into your next game of Fate.
Now we're bringing this content to you ¸ so you can find and download your issues easily.
In this fifth issue¸ we've got:
- Shoshana Kessock's advice on making your game inclusive¸ Fate is a Safe Place¸ including excellent guidelines and advice for avoiding problematic content and fostering a positive trust between everyone at the table.
- Marissa Kelly's recipe for one-shot play¸ Cooking Up a Fate One-Shot¸ with a clear and precise set of instructions for running an awesome one-shot game of Fate.
- Tara Zuber's travel narrative skill list¸ Voyages: A Skill Set for Getting There¸ providing a skill list meant to make stories about the journey¸ not just the destination.
- Kira Magrann's lesbian noir quick start adventure¸ Twilight Dames¸ in which players take on the roles of the queer women of the Twilight City¸ living in a noir world of sex and crime.
