An antiquarian is killed inside his locked shop¸ shortly after closing time. Officers from the Bureau of Order promptly arrive on the scene¸ followed by the victim's daughter and helper¸ who rushed there upon hearing the gunshots. Within the shop is the corpse of the antiquarian¸ Jebedia Bunzel¸ holding a pistol and surrounded by magical items. What happened? A deal gone bad? A robbery? Or perhaps something darker?
