Fantasy Gits Core Rules
You find yourselves atop a pile of corpses in a dark pit deep beneath the earth¸ above you can see the light through a cracked ancient roof¸ and around you can be heard the moans of the recently¸ hungry dead. You need to find your way back to the surface and discover who threw you to your doom.
So begins your adventures in Fantasy Gits¸ at the bottom of a 4-level dungeon needing to gather what you can find to survive the journey back to civilisation. Once you arrive back into the light the lands of Fallowgrave stretch out around you and from here you can travel where you wish¸ because to face those that condemned you to die will involve building your skills and attributes to have a chance of revenge.
Fantasy Gits is an OSR-style RPG where you play a mercenary group paid to do missions that can sometimes be in the grey and occasionally lead you to be cast down a pit. The game has the following:
Seven Races to choose from: Humans¸ Dwarves¸ Elves¸ Halflings¸ Half-Orcs¸ Lizard Folk¸ and Rat Kin. A deep Background system offering 6 lifepath professions. Four Mercenary Roles Mage¸ Fighter¸ Rogue¸ and Hunter A full Map of Fallowgrave with location tokens Descriptions of the Fallowgrave cities and mountain regions. All the rules needed to play. Weapons¸ Gear¸ Poisons¸ Hirelings and Magic Item tables Four Magical Types¸ Necromancy¸ Sorcery¸ Witchcraft and Prayer Magical Critical and Fumble Tables A Bestiary of Monsters and other Threats A 4-level reverse dungeon for you to escape from. All maps and Character sheets were done by Monkeyblood Design Also a folder full of maps¸ character sheets¸ and GM Screen
Fantasy Gits uses a D20 for a rollover and roll-under mechanic and has exploding dice¸ renown and morale rules.
