White Wolfs Engel ist OGL Derzeit mutmaßen die Fachleute über die englische Übersetzung von Chroniken der Engel¸ das gänzlich ohne Arkana-System erscheinen soll. Engel wird aber auch in englischer Sprache kein D20-System-Produkt sein¸ denn das würde die Kreation der Engel-Charaktere unmöglich machen. Engel wird daher unter der Open Gaming Licence erscheinen¸ was den Einbau eines Systems zur Charaktererschaffung ermöglicht¸ um ein Stand-Alone-Buch zu schaffen. Damit wäre aber die gerade im US-Markt bedeutsame Werbewirksamkeit des D20-Logos verschenkt.
D20: Engel. Nun liegt nun die amerikanische Übersetzung der Chroniken der Engel aus dem Hause Feder & Schwert vor. Zwar wurde in der nun von White Wolf vorliegenden Fassung mehr (/nur noch) Augenmerk auf das D20-System gerichtet.
