Shackled City: A 5th Edition/Eberron Conversion
FOUR YEARS IN THE MAKING!
Started in 2020¸ the pages of this document are an extensive conversion of the Shackled City adventure path originally printed in Dragon Magazine from March 2003 to November 2004. This conversion not only updates the adventure path 5th edition but also tells you what changes you need to slot the adventure path into the Eberron campaign setting. In this document you will find over 100 stat blocks; over 30 new magic items; new secrets (a feature originally seen in Icewind: Rime of the Frost Maiden¸ but that book is not needed to use them); new feats; new spells; new sidekicks; and two new sub-classes¸ the high handcrafter artificer and the pathwarden ranger.
To use this conversion you will need the following material:
The original modules that make up the Shackled City adventure path (these can be found in old issues of Dragon Magazine or in the limited run collected edition) The respective needed issue of Dragon Magazine are in each of the chapter's titles in this conversion. Player's Handbook for 5th Edition Dungeon Master's Guide for 5th Edition Monster Manual for 5th Edition Eberron: Rising from the Last War Volo's Guide to Monsters Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes Minsc and Boo's Journal of Villainy
If you are using the high handcrafter subclass¸ you will also need Xanathar's Guide to Everything since it uses spells from that book. Also¸ the following books are not needed to run the adventure path¸ but can add more options to the game:
Eberron Confidential The Korrenburg Chronicle: Adventurer's Almanac
Remember¸ these books are not manditory for running the adventure path.
Included in this is also character sheets for the new sidekicks.
