Eberron Gods Among Us
The Sovereign Host is worshiped throughout Khorvaire by peoples of all types¸ with a mythos leading all the way back to the Age of Demons¸ yet they so rarely interact with Eberron that many don't believe they exist at all. Yet faith in the Host persists and permeates cultures throughout the nations. What if the god-dragons of the Host really are with the people¸ but guiding them in disguise?
This supplement provides individual communities based around each of the Sovereign Host¸ according to their domain. Be it Balinor's Hunting Lodge¸ Aueron's Arcranum¸ or Olladra's Saloon¸ the everyday people of Khorvaire are influenced by their worship of the host and espousing of their values.
Each community is lead by one of the host god-dragons disguised in mortal form¸ with conditions that might bring about their transformation and revelation of who they truly are to either the PCs or the entire land. This supplement provides a fully designed community for each of the Host:
Area Effects (caused by close proximity to the god-dragon).
A manifest zone related to each of the Sovereign Host.
Typical ways they are worshiped in the community.
NPC community members (w/ backgrounds and relations to one another).
Campaign Hooks & specific Side-Quests given by the NPCs.
Conflicts that may result in the revelation of a god-dragon.
Both the Blessing and the Curse of each of the Sovereign Host.
Eberron Gods Among Us provides a solid story and world-building framework that you can use for any campaign and communities that you can plug in any time you need one. While some specifics for encounters are suggested¸ there are no battle-maps or stat blocks¸ instead giving you the story you need to build those encounters into¸ providing purpose within a vibrant world.
Not only are the Sovereign Host-either in mortal guise or ascendant god-dragon-able to provide guidance and purpose for serious campaigns¸ but the many NPCs provide characters whenever you need them that feel like they truly live within the world of Eberron. Need a changeling rogue with a wild streak? Head over to Olladra's saloon. Have a bounty you need help with? The mercenaries at Dol Dorn's guardpost or Balinor's hunting lodge have got you covered.
