Lulu stared at the gnome standing in front of her incredulously. Something about him was so familiar¸ but she couldn't put her finger on it. "If it isn't my beautiful rose... and perpetual thorn in my side. What¸ don't you recognize me?" The gnome absentmindedly tried to tug at a beard that wasn't there. "Baron Lagrange?" Lulu shuddered. "You're supposed to be dead. And human. I watched you hang myself." Gladly. The gnome let out a menacing chuckle. "The funny thing about rules is¸ if you have enough money¸ they don't apply to you." He fiddled with a dagger¸ pretending to clean his nails. "I'm just here to deliver a message. I know it was you¸ and I'm not a forgiving man. I'm coming for you and your friends. And you won't know it's me until the knife is in your back." With that¸ the gnome plunged the dagger into his own chest and fell lifeless to the ground. Lulu sighed. It looked like she would have to bring the Baron to justice again. And make sure it stuck this time.
