Wake
Oithea¸ a world shattered by devastating wars from powerful otherworldly enemies¸ has finally won against its oppressors. The few kingdoms left not ruined by the last great war must find a way to carry on in the wake of desperate pacts made with dark powers. Now¸ more than ever¸ is the time for brave adventurers to step forth and lead the world into a new age that's still hobbled from the consequences of heroes¸ kings¸ queens¸ and kingdoms of the previous age. In this first module of the "Wake" series¸ GMs will find all the materials needed to run an adventure group of up to five players through an original world from levels 1 to 4 by the conclusion. Starting in the idyllic town of Belberry during an anniversary festival¸ your party will eventually find themselves in the mysterious Darkwood plunging into the ancient Ahkuut Ruins under the leadership of the League of Extraordinary Explorers! What mysteries will they uncover? Can they survive a brush with darkness? But this isn't your standard module. While a vast framework has been laid for you to follow along¸ there's plenty purposefully left open for creative GMs to add and subtract. Whether it be lore¸ NPCs¸ plot hooks or whatever¸ this adventure module is malleable enough to make your adventures feel a little more "yours". "The Ahkuut Ruins" comes complete with the Oithea world map (currently in Fog of War)¸ a detailed map of the Western Kingdoms of Ellal¸ a local map where your adventure begins¸ random rolling tables to keep things interesting for repeat playthroughs¸ fascinating historical lore¸ fun NPCs¸ snarky comments¸ and much much more!
