The Balladeer (PC16) (OSR)



The balladeer is a wandering¸ somewhat rustic¸ musical do-gooder¸ able to not just cast magic with his music¸ but even dispel magic and charm monsters. In practice¸ it's basically a mash-up of the bard¸ druid¸ and cleric. I've been tinkering it with years¸ changing this or that. I'm still not 100% satisfied with it¸ but am tired of fooling with it. Although primarily intended for the 1st advanced edition of the worlds first fantasy role-playing game¸ tables are included for the original and expert editions.
