Quwis - Humanoid Guinea Pigs
A PC race for both 5e and Pathfinder 1e. Quwis are a race of kind-hearted small furry humanoid guinea pigs. They live in semi-nomadic tribes usually establishing near rivers¸ lakes¸ and beaches because their primary source of food is fishing but sometimes they also practice rudimentary agriculture. They are seen by other races as funny small people but they can be tenacious and diligent especially when working for the tribe's wellbeing. But not everything is happiness on their tribes¸ they are hunted by evil spellcasters who use them as the focus of a ritual that transfers illness¸ wounds¸ and curses from others to them.
