Playbook: The Mercenary (PBtA)



The Mercenary is both a warrior and a leader. Alongside their hireling¸ they charge into battle and show their enemies the fury of a good team.

But mouths need to be fed¸ and the Mercenary is very good at finding jobs to do. Sure they may be unsavory¸ but someone has to do them.

Can you keep your crew alive and teach them what it means to live a life of adventure? Can you do it while making a profit?

The Mercenary is a Dungeon World playbook built to expand upon the Hireling rules of Dungeon World. As the Mercenary¸ your hirelings will be more versatile and you will feel like their glorious leader.
