3D Printable: Sci-Fi Objectives
Data Targets are a set of science fiction miniatures objective markers for 3D printing. They have been designed for Corvus Belli's Infinity and its Infinity Tournament System (ITS) mission pack¸ but work well for Games Workshop's Warhammer 40¸000 and a wide range of other games.
UPDATES- 2017/06/12: There are a few changes and additions in this update---
- Following reports that the Datacubes are a bit fiddly to extract from the Panoply¸ the magnet mounting holes in the latter are shifted so the Datacube sits more forward.
- There is a variant on the Panoply¸ panoply-top-s.stl¸ that has slightly steeper back faces that may print smoother on some machines.
- There are two Antennas variants¸ antenna-d2.stl and antenna-s.stl¸ that respectively have more elaborate and slightly shorter top stalks. We strongly recommend using antenna-d2.stl as it's much stronger and more robust to travel & play than the original design.
- 2017/05/10: Variants of all the pieces have been added with plain circular bases in addition to the notched primary design shown here.

Matching blank bases or plain objective markers are also included¸ as well as variant designs with plain circular bases.
Magnetizing!The 40mm objectives all incorporate hutches in which datacubes may be placed and then removed by players to indicate control¸ optionally replacing them with an A or B control marker. Extracted datacubes can of course also be moved along with specific figures to indicate possession of extracted data or materials as they attempt to escape! The 40mm objectives as well as both marker types include recesses so that they may optionally be easily fitted with magnets and ball bearings such that the markers readily and securely snap into place.
PrintingAll of the designs should be printable WITHOUT supports on most home printers¸ greatly reducing prep time! Most may be printed in one piece¸ while a few print as two pieces that may be very quickly and easily glued together. Assembled 1-piece prints are also included for those printers with the capability to handle those models. Full notes on printing and magnetizing are in a PDF included as part of the download.
