Advanced Cry Havoc 2
This is our home made Advanced Cry Havoc system. It includes the rules for Skirmish battles (Siege Operations will be dealt with in another opus)¸ the necessary markers and Player aid Charts.
It overhauls the rules for the Cry Havoc series of games. Ownership of at least one of those published games is necessary to use these rules.

The latest new and improved version of the CRY HAVOC/THE NORMAN SAGA rules includes:
>reduced effectiveness of ranged combat to better match the original game. Separate ranged combat results on the Combat Table now with an "Activated” and "Prone” result instead of Impairment.
>reworked initiative system. Players now select a character to activate and may interrupt that selection using initiative. No more looking at all the combat values to determine who's next.
>new "Engaged” status limiting focus and ZOI in close combat to a single enemy. This required the introduction of a new round 1/2” marker to show engaged units.
>reworked LOS rules with no more blind hexes but a gradual increase in cover provided by intervening slopes.
>charges are now happening in their own phase¸ before regular activation.
>new Combat Tables that reduce Impairment results¸ new Power value for ranged weapons¸ new use of the "Watch” status to grant a shooting bonus instead...
...and many more small improvements!
