Crowns & Castles Supplemental Rules
Built from over a year of requests from the C&C community¸ these Supplemental Rules expand the options available to you in controlling your realm. They include:
Exploration Parties. Place your team of adventurers on the map¸ aid armies¸ explore for resources¸ have adventures¸ send them to NPC realms to negotiate on your behalf.
Resource Exploration by Terrain. Target specific hexes to get the resources you were hoping for.
Exploration Random Encounters. A table of 25 micro-adventures for Exploration checks.
Alternate Attribute Increases. Customize your race's attribute bumps instead of following the archetypes.
Casus Belli. Reduce the stability loss for declaring war.
Colonizing New Land. With a reasonable investment¸ claim unused territory and create a new settlement.
Additional Buildings. Add settlement garrisons¸ roads¸ water ditches¸ or immobile defensive towers to protect your home.
Positive Realm Conditions. Loyalty¸ festivals¸ abundance¸ unity¸ affluence and others act as counterpoints to famine¸ unrest¸ revolt¸ plague¸ etc.
Mixed Governments. Create the democratic pirate enclave or constitutional monarchy you always wanted.
Warforged. A new race of Warforged that construct their units and add upgrade packages to increase their specialization as you choose.
