Crawling Chaos is a Lovecraftian horror scenario set in the present day. It is playable in one or two sessions and comes with six pre-generated characters¸ complete with motivations and secrets.
The scenario functions as a terrifying "one-shot” but can also serve as the opening chapter of a present-day campaign that sees the players face off against the malign influence of Nyarlathotep¸ The Crawling Chaos. The campaign is supported by the Expanded Campaign Edition of this book¸ which also includes adventure-building tools and a compendium of spells and creatures.
