The Lost System is a scenario that begins in a distant asteroid field in the Third Horizon. The player characters stumble across a ghost ship and as they begin to unravel the threads surrounding its unfortunate fate¸ they find themselves in the middle of intrigues that could change the Horizon forever.
The scenario leads the player characters on a hunt for a lost Portal Builder system; the mythical Ayabis¸ rumored to hold unimaginable riches¸ and it takes them all over the Third Horizon. To the run-down colonial station Akkanah 3¸ the ice planet Qutar¸ and the mystical¸ ancient relic Ekharan's eye. To make matters worse¸ it seems the player characters aren't the only ones interested in this lost system. Wherever they go¸ relentless shadows follow; tall¸ dark creatures with a pale ring across their chest. Whatever their motives¸ they seem eager for blood.
