The Third Horizon is not (everywhere) as super-connected as other science fiction settings. Nevertheless¸ there are numerous networks and local systems in which a Data Spider can work their magic. These rules will expand their options.
Web of the Data Spider offers you extended rules for the data djinn skill that keep the mindset and spirit of the Core Rulebook. It is not a new subsystem but a simple and elegant extension of the existing rules. All presented rules are modular. You can use them as a whole or just pick your favourites. You also find five new talents specially designed for data spiders. They also work outside of the extended rules of this book.
All rules in this book can be easily adapted to any other SciFi games you run on the Year Zero Engine¸ making it the perfect addition to your Year Zero hack.
