It is the dawn of the end of a century-long dark age where teachers¸
technicians and books were burned. A new age of Enlightenment is arising¸ where
monks of the Order of Saint James the Literate are recovering the lost arts of
science and electricity.
There are many forces opposed to them: the warlords¸ Ministries and the
ignorant who blame the collapse on technology and literacy.
The world is recovering but it will be a hard job for you and your allies.
