The Those Who Were Forgotten



Ten years ago¸ a temple ruin was found hidden in the Gerukan Mountains¸ south and west of the city of Baruk¸ devoid of history or marking. When the Nurinian explorers who found it attempted to enter the yawning darkness of the gateway¸ something prevented them¸ and suddenly pale letters wrote themselves into the air before them.

"Know that only the faithful may enter the emptiness here; know that all enter this place alone¸ and know that this place has forgotten the Gods¸ and waits now to be reminded.

"It was discovered that only sevars might enter the temple¸ but those who have never returned. Visions and portents from the Gods all told the same tale: something within the temple was treasure beyond price to any God¸ and yet until that happened¸ no follower of any God could claim the temple itself. It was strictly and sternly forbidden. Few sevars enter the place now but you could be the one who returns. How strongly do you believe?
